Celebrate Independence Day in the heart of Downtown Marquette with the annual Fourth of July Parade!

The Marquette Kiwanis Club proudly announces our 31st year of sponsoring the Marquette July 4th Parade with the City of Marquettestarting at 
2 pm on Saturday, July 4th at McClelland & W. Washington. 

This beloved tradition has brought the community together for more than a century as local businesses, organizations, and performers fill the streets with festive floats, music, and patriotic spirit. One of the busiest and most exciting days of the year, it’s the perfect way to kick off a day of celebration in Marquette! This year, the theme will be “One Nation Indivisible- 250 Years”.

  • Presented by the Kiwanis Club of Marquette, the Fourth of July Parade is one of the most celebrated events of the Fourth of July festivities. Bringing thousands of spectators along Washington Street to cheer on the local floats as they make their way through the heart of Downtown Marquette.
  • Parade begins at 2:00 PM
  • Theme is “One Nation Indivisible – 250 Years”

Accessibility

Parking

Parade spectators will be asked to park and view the parade from Accessible parking, which will be provided in the Nicolet National Bank parking lot at 857 West Washington Street.

Accessible Viewing Area

The accessible viewing area is located in the Nicolet National Bank parking lot. Spectators wishing to watch the parade from this location are asked to enter the lot between 12:45 and 1:00 PM and inform the volunteer at this intersection that you would like to enter the accessible viewing area.

Seating

Please bring your own chair to watch the parade.

Restrooms

No accessible public bathrooms are provided near the accessible view area.
